The GoodBuilders Program is a year-long initiative fueling innovation with G$, offering support, funding, and mentorship to builders creating decentralized applications (dApps) or enhancing existing GoodDollar infrastructure. Its mission is to drive adoption, expand G$ utility, and foster real-world engagement through groundbreaking projects that make an impact.

Round 1 kicked off during Gitcoin Grants 23, using Quadratic Funding to surface early contributors and experimental projects. That first round was built in partnership with Gitcoin and helped define the foundations of a builder-led ecosystem.

Now, we’re putting the final touches on Round 2, this time in partnership with Flow State, to transition the GoodDollar builder program to a real-time streaming model.

What’s New in Round 2

GoodDollar, Flow State, CeloPG, and Karma GAP are coming together to launch the next generation of streaming grants through the GoodBuilders program, leveraging G$’s Superfluid SuperToken capabilities to support builders in real time.

This round marks a deeper collaboration across the Celo ecosystem to test a new, dynamic model for allocating grants; one that’s transparent, community-driven, and responsive to builders’ actual progress.

Program Details

• Applications open to anyone building on or integrating with GoodDollar
• Mentor applications are open now
• Grantee applications open end of June — full details on how to apply coming soon
• Round streaming will start second week of July
• Mentors and community members will be able to vote to allocate funding
• Donations will be possible, but won’t influence streaming allocation
